THE ROYAL WEDDING



Prince Harry, who is considered as the most eligible bachelor, is very soon going to get married to the Hollywood starlet Meghan Markle. As the people of Britain are eager for their wedding, all the leading media reporters are also behind them. The royal wedding has been scheduled on May 19th, 2018, Saturday. The couple got engaged in November and is taking charge of the planning which is designed to incorporate both families, their wide circle of friends, and welcome the public into their lives. In a poll conducted in the United Kingdom Harry was chosen as the third popular member of the royal family, after William and the Queen.

People love him so much because he is very much involved in charitable works and military service. He served in the British army for ten years and also took the initiative to promote the welfare of those who were serving or who have served their country in the Armed Forces. The venue of the royal wedding is St George Chapel, Windsor Castle, where the Prince was christened. The Lord Chamberlain’s Office at Buckingham Palace is responsible for organizing the royal wedding of Harry and Ms Markle.

Harry, the second son of Charles, Prince of Wales and Princess Diana was born on 15th September 1984 in Paddington, London. Currently Prince Harry is fifth in the line to the English throne, behind his father, older brother William and William’s two children. After the death of Princess Diana he was under intense media scrutiny, having his personal tragedies as well as his antics. Harry was very close to his mother and once Princess Diana described him as “very artistic and sporty”. The Princess intentionally made effort to give both her son’s “as a normal life as possible” despite their privileged position in the British society.

Initially Prince Harry was less interested in school education as he grew up he developed an interest in all things military as he matured. When he joined the Ludgrove School, a boarding school in Berkshire, in 1992 he was reportedly informed about his parents’ divorce. After the separation of his parents during vacation he and his brother divided their time and with his father they went to official trips and vacations abroad. Whereas with their mother they went they engaged in a variety of activities like travelling to tropical holidays to visit AIDS clinics and homeless shelters. After the shocking death from a car accident, Harry was very much disturbed and also suffered from nightmares about his mother’s death. He overcome all these difficult situations and continued his studies and decided to spend an extra year at Ludgrove and with his tremendous efforts he passed with flying colors. In 2003, Prince Harry graduated from Eton.

After completing his studies he travelled to Australia, Argentina and Africa and was very much interested in playing polo. When Harry was in Australia he participated in Young Australia Polo Match Test. Harry contributed a lot to his society and worked at the homes of orphans of AIDS victims. After coming from there Harry decided to create a documentary to promote awareness about their problems. He named the documentary as “The Forgotten Kingdom: Prince Harry in Lesotho” and it raised around $2 million for the British Red Cross Lesotho Fund. In 2005 after completing 44 weeks of training Harry joined the Household Cavalry as a second lieutenant. On the 46th birthday of Princess Diana in order to raise fund for the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund and other charities they conducted a concert, more than 60000 people attended the concert. From 2012 Harry became an Apache helicopter pilot in the Army Air Corps, after participating in many combat missions, the Prince in 2015 ended his official military duties. He was dating the actress and model Cressida Bonas for two years and their relationship during that time created a media buzz. However very soon they ended their relationship.
