I take pride to acknowledge my entire “Sofi family” for their unconditional love, prayers and encouragement.

This work is a collective result of comments and reviews, I received from my teachers specially Sir Tufail Haji of St Josephs school and my friends. I gratefully thank my mom and baba for supporting me and Sehar Lone for her valuable support.

I would further like to acknowledge my brother Anzar Hameed for discussing with me regarding the novel.

I am very thankful to one and all for making it success.

A strong woman knows how to keep her life in order. Even with tears in her eyes, she still manages to say, “I am Okay,” With a smile.

Chapter 1

If our bodies are sick, we seek to heal them. We don’t give upon them. The same thing should imply for our marriages (Elder Dallin H.OAKS)

A marriage was taking place somewhere in a village between Nisar Ahmad and Shahida Bano. They both belong to ‘Syed’ family and their relationship was already of cousins.

It was an arrange marriage. They both have been known to each other since childhood as they had played and spent their time with each other since childhood.
